Here, you'll find examples of past Cultural Studies Trips destinations. Many of the destinations remain the same from one year to the next, although some destinations, and their academic/cultural content, may change depending on faculty and student requests.
Globe Theatre
A trip to the reconstructed Globe Theatre, close to the riverside site where Shakespeare's plays were performed hundreds of years ago, is always popular with students.
Battle of Hastings
As the Castle is located so close to the site of the famous Battle of Hastings, which took place in 1066, students often travel to locations that were prominent in those events.
