Academic Support at the BISC
Outside of the classroom, BISC students also have access to a range of support services designed to help them with the transition to university life. On campus, Academic Advisors are available for those students wishing to discuss course selection, the adding or dropping of subjects, and future programme requirements.
There are also classes, workshops, and peer-mentoring services available for ESL students. Throughout each term lunchtime ‘drop-in’ sessions, run by members of faculty, are organised to give students advice on aspects of academic life and development.
Students with specific needs or disabilities are advised and supported by the Student Services team, who then liaise with faculty to ensure that an appropriate academic programme can be formulated to best meet each student’s needs.
