Student Services delivers Student Wellness initiatives to support the personal, academic, and social development of students at the BISC. Services are delivered in conjunction with local partners, as well as through educational programming in the residence building and the castle.
Students have access to the weekly on-site doctor's office, and are also registered at the local doctor's office.
All students can access the bi-weekly on-site counsellor. We have a man and a woman-identified counsellor avaialbe for support.
Sexual Violence Prevention and Response
The BISC is committed to maintaining a positive learning and living environment in which any form of sexual violence will not be tolerated. The BISC follows the Queen's University policy that aims to address sexual violence, although some slight modifications to the procedures have been necessary to reflect the geographical location of the BISC and the resources and supports associated with it.
Student Services can help students access sexual health resources in the local community.
We assist in the implementation of academic accommodations in the classroom and for exams.
