This week is all about returning home. The law students returned home to the Castle after an exciting week abroad visiting Paris, The Hague and Geneva. For all the undergraduate students out there, you may be leaving the country and going back home for the summer. We have had a wonderful time getting to know all of you, and we hope that this experience has been an unforgettable one. You are all going on to great things and we hope to see you again soon.

This has been a chock-full week at the BISC! The Arts and Science students went on their Mid Term Trip through Northern England to Edinburgh this past weekend, the Law Program is in Paris, The Hague and Geneva, and there are quite a few other field studies happening this week. On top of all the trips, there are also lots of activities happening. We had “Human Clue” last week where we discovered you cannot trust Miss Peacock; there will be Karaoke on Wednesday, Beer Tasting on Thursday, Ballroom Dancing on Friday, and a Campfire on Sunday!

London Calling, bring-bring! After a whirlwind weekend away students have returned to Herstmonceux Castle with visions of Big Ben and Piccadilly Circus dancing in their heads. The term is now in full swing and everyone is hitting the books. East Sussex spring is out in full force, meaning the Castle courtyard has become the spot to be. The Archaeology Field School dug up all kinds of fun this weekend in Bath and Lullingstone and the Health Studies students are off on their own adventure this weekend to Lyon and Geneva.

What an amazing year here for everyone at the BISC! Many of you are leaving the Castle over the next two weeks and we want you to know you will be sorely missed here. This is a once in a lifetime experience and we hope that you’ve been able to do everything you could have possibly imagined and more since you first arrived here in September. Good luck, and in the future and remember: you’re always welcome back.
