To be awarded annually to a student entering his/her second year of the
M. A. program in Art History, deemed to have both high academic standing in course work and demonstrated potential for original research, who can provide sufficient evidence of intent to write a thesis on a topic in Canadian Art or Architecture in order to fulfill the requirements of the degree.
