Important Dates

Dates apply to the Fall-Winter academic year beginning in September 2009. See Sessional Dates for a complete list.

Registration

Fall

QCARD becomes available to complete the final step of the registration process for students who have pre-registered and prepaid.

 

Winter

11 January

Last day to register without financial penalty for students not registered in any other courses.

Late Registration

 

§        After 15 August (after 11 Jan - Winter Term) students must pay a late registration administration fee. If not preregistered, contact the Student Services office in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, 3rd Floor, Beamish-Munro Hall 

§        After 25 September students must submit a written appeal for late registration to the Operations Committee. If the appeal is granted, the late fee will apply.

§        After 1 November (after 1 Feb - Winter Term) no more registrations are accepted.

Adding and Dropping Courses

Beginning 8 September, students can add and drop courses on QCARD.

The Chair of Undergraduate Studies in the program must be advised when a course is added or dropped. Verbal requests to course instructors and/or absence from class are not sufficient and usually result in failure and loss of fee refund.
