Students in major or medial concentrations must apply for admission to honours at the end of the penultimate year.
To be admitted to the final year of the honours program with a major concentration in Health Studies, a student is required to have a minimum weighted concentration average of 70 per cent in 2.0 health studies concentration core credits at the 200 level or above, and a minimum average of 70 per cent in 3.0 health studies concentration core or concentration option credits at the 200 level or above. In addition, students must have completed at least 14.0 credits overall with a minimum average of 65 per cent on 10.0 credits, including all that form part of the concentration (see Academic Regulation 23).
To be admitted to the final year of the honours program with a medial concentration in Health Studies, a student is required to have a minimum weighted concentration average of 70 per cent in 1.5 courses with the designation of HLTH at the 200 level or above, and a minimum average of 70 per cent in an additional 1.5 concentration core or concentration option courses in health studies at the 200 level or above. In addition, students must have completed at least 14.0 credits overall with a minimum average of 65 per cent on 10.0 credits, including all that form part of the concentration (see Academic Regulation 23).
