Students in major or medial concentrations apply for admission to honours at the end of the penultimate year. To be admitted to honours, students must meet Faculty requirements (see Academic Regulation 23) and also the departmental requirements that a student in a medial concentration have an average of at least 70 per cent in 4.0 previous English credits and a student in a major concentration have an average of at least 70 per cent in 5.0 previous English credits.
