Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - BAH
Major Concentration - MAJ (Consists of 10.0 credits as described below and 9.0 elective credits to total 19.0)
Philosophy - PHIL
Course selection must include 1.0 100-level PHIL credit; PHIL 250 and PHIL 257; PHIL 361*; 0.5 credit from PHIL 328*, PHIL 329*, PHIL 330* or PHIL 335*; 2.5 philosophy credits at the 200 level or above; 2.5 philosophy credits at the 300 level or above and 1.0 400-level PHILcredit taken in the fourth year of the program. 500-level Directed Special Studies courses maybe substituted for the 400-level requirement only with the permission of the Undergraduate Chair.
Medial Concentration - MED (Consists of 7.0 credits in each of two concentrations, one of which must be in the humanities, social sciences or languages. 1.0 or 2.0 supporting credits may also be required and 3.0 or 4.0 elective credits to total 19.0)
Philosophy - PHIL
Course selection must include 1.0 100-level PHIL credit; PHIL 250 and PHIL 257; 0.5 credit from PHIL 328*, PHIL 329*, PHIL 330* or PHIL 335*; 1.5 credits at the 200-level or above; 1.0 credit at the 300 level or above; and 1.0 400-level PHIL credit taken in the fourth year of the program. 500-level Directed Special Studies courses maybe substituted for the 400-level requirement only with the permission of the Undergraduate Chair.

Note to Honours Students
All students entering into the third or fourth year of an honours degree with a Philosophy concentration, whether major, medial or special field, are required to have their programs authorized by the Chair of Undergraduate Studies in the Department of Philosophy.
