Queen's Undergraduate Internship Program (QUIP)
Queen's University offers an internship program that allows qualified students the opportunity to pursue a twelve- or sixteen-month paid work term in a career-related position. This program is open to students enrolled in the Faculties ofArts and Science (including the Life Sciences program), Applied Science, and the School of Business. The number and nature of internships vary annually but acceptance of this program by employers is growing year by year.
Employers request applications from third-year students more frequently than second-year students, but internships have been located for both. Job openings under this program are posted by Career Services beginning inOctober.
Student success in obtaining an internship will be a function of the number and type of internships available and the number of students who apply.
To qualify for this program students must meet certain minimum academic requirements. For more information on the program call or visit Career Services at Queen's, 613-533-2992, or point your browser to http://careers.queensu.ca.
