The School of Graduate Studies, and all graduate departments and programs, consider the Queen's University online course in accessible customer service, developed and delivered as required under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) to be a valuable part of graduate studentsí professional development training. Ensuring our graduate students are sufficiently equipped to contribute towards an inclusive University culture is the right thing to do.
Therefore as of†September 1, 2011†and each academic session thereafter,†all new graduate students shall be required to complete training on the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA), through the online course in Accessible Customer Service, as part of their graduate degree program, and prior to being approved for graduation.
Normally, new graduate students†register in the graduate level course number created to encompass the training, AODA-800 Accessible Customer Service. A grade of P (Pass) is entered onto the student's record upon successful completion of the online training and in accordance with the university's schedule for releasing final grades to transcripts.
