Completed in January 2010, the new School of Kinesiology and Health Studies building stands on the site of the former Jock Harty arena. The new state-of-the-art building provides the School of Kinesiology and Health Studies with laboratories and teaching facilities that are unequaled in Canada. The School itself occupies a unique position as a leader in health enhancement, disease prevention and human performance. The building was designed as part of the Queen's Centre project, by architects Sasaki Associates, Inc. (Watertown, MA), Bregman + Hamann Architects (Toronto), and Shoalts and Zaback Architects Ltd. (Kingston).
