Message from Dr. Morrison:
Welcome to English 100. My name is Dr Robert Morrison, and I will be your instructor for the course. I received my BA from the University of Lethbridge, my MPhil from Oxford, and my PhD from Edinburgh. I taught at Acadia University for eleven years. I have been teaching at Queen’s since 2003.
English 100 is focused on the four main literary genres – novels, plays, essays, and poems – and it covers a wide and exciting range of material. I hope you will enjoy working your way through the course and engaging with the various readings. Teaching Assistants (TAs) will be marking all of your assignments. If you have any questions or concerns, you should tact the TA assigned to you first. If you wish to meet with me, please contact me via e-mail to arrange a time for an appointment.
