Course Description

For students with no (or a minimal) background in French.

Method of Delivery

P16/3.0 requires students to submit assignments online on Queen's Moodle site. The course Moodle page becomes accessible to registered students on the first day of term.

Course Objectives

This online French course is aimed at students with little or no knowledge of French and is designed to provide them with basic language skills to enable them to understand and use familiar everyday expressions and basic phrases in everyday situations, provided the person they are addressing speaks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help. At the end of the course, students will be able to engage in simple everyday interactions: introduce themselves to others, provide personal details relating to where they live, people they know, and their various belongings.
