Dr. Caroline-Isabelle Caron
caronc@queensu.ca
My name is Caroline-Isabelle Caron and for the next twelve weeks I will be your instructor. I have been a professor at Queen's University since 2002. I specialize in nineteenth- and twentieth-century Canadian history; in particular I am specialized in the study of popular culture and collective identity. I invite you to contact me if you have any questions or concerns at caronc@queensu.ca. Office hours can be arranged in person or virtually through this email address.
If you run into difficulties obtaining material for assignments or required reading material for the course, it is imperative that you contact me immediately. The sooner we can work out problems the better. This is your course and the more you put into it the more you will get out of it. If you keep up with each week’s lesson you will reduce the chance of becoming overwhelmed by the material. Covering so much information over such a short period of time can be daunting but you are not alone. I am always available to help so please don’t hesitate to contact me!
