Message from the Instructor

Welcome to History of Gender in North America. While the nature of this course places certain restrictions on peer- to-peer and peer-to-instructor interactions, HIST280 has taken on significant changes to remedy this issue and improve the quality of the learning experience.

You will be asked to participate weekly via an online class blog. This forum will enable you to demonstrate your knowledge and creative engagement with the course readings, as well as explore your thoughts and questions through regular online interaction with your peers and the instructor. Through this process, which will facilitate critical dialogue in the less pressured space of an online class blog, I hope that you will develop deeper and broader understandings of the course material.
