Course Description

This online calculus course covers differentiation and integration of the elementary functions, with applications to physical and social sciences; Taylor polynomials; multivariable differential calculus. It is intended for students planning to concentrate in subjects other than Biochemistry, Biology, Life Sciences, Mathematics or Statistics.

Note regarding students with credit for AP calculus:

MATH124/3.0  is available online this summer for students who have an advanced placement (AP) credit in calculus. Students wishing to register for  this class must contact  Professor Alan Ableson in the Math Department to obtain permission. Students who register in MATH124/3.0 will join MATH121/6.0 class in week 7, June 17, 2013.
