Course Description

This online sociology course is an introduction to the concepts, theories and methods of sociological inquiry, and their application to the analysis of Canadian society.

There are no prerequisites for SOCY 122; the course is open to any undergraduate student enrolled at Queen's. SOCY 122 serves as the basic prerequisite for all upper year courses. A student must achieve a grade of at least 60% in SOCY 122 to register in further courses in the Department.
