Required Material

CDS reserves the right to make changes to the required material list as received by the instructor before the course starts. Course Resources

1. Textbook and course notes: The textbook is required for the course both for the explainations of the material and for the practice questions it contains. There is no advantage to the 12th edition over the 11th edition and both should be readily available used. The STAT 263 Course Reader Custom Courseware contains the PowerPoint slides presented in the online lectures
2. Online lectures: A complete set of videotaped STAT 263 lectures from a previous term, taught by Charles Molson, will be available on Moodle in Real Media format. The student should take notes in the courseware while viewing the online lectures.
3. Solved problem sets: Suggested question and solution sets (called non-assignments) are provided on the STAT 263 Moodle homepage. Students should work through the non-assignments in preparation for the quizzes, midterm test, and final exam. The non-assignments are not submitted or graded.
4. Past term tests and exams: Term tests and final exams from the last few years of STAT 263 classes, along with answers and solutions, are provided from the STAT 263 Moodle homepage.
