Recent Talk by Dr. Nicola Terrenato (University of Michigan)

The Department of Classics was pleased to welcome Dr. Nicola Terrenato from the University of Michigan as a guest speaker. Dr. Terrenato's talk, entitled "The Gabii Project: A New Excavation in a Major Latin City" was most appreciated and well-received by a large audience.  The Department of Classics wishes to extend its thanks to Dr. Terrenato for his visit.

Dr. Monique Nicholson

We are saddened by the passing of Dr. Monique Nicholson on Friday, March 5th.  Many of our faculty will remember Dr. Nicholson from her time with us as an adjunct professor in Classics during the early 1990's. You can learn more about her life in this touching blog by her daughter.

Dr. Barbara Reeves reports on the Platt Fellowship that she received from The 

American Schools of Oriental Research in 2009.
