Undergraduate Studies

Many students learn about Classics by starting with an elective course (usually Introduction to Greek or to Roman Civilization, or Introduction to Archaeology) in their first or second year, and then decide to declare Classical Studies as their major concentration. Others, who come to appreciate how their particular program of choice has direct links to the Greek and Roman worlds, choose to enhance their degree with a medial or minor concentration in Classical Studies.

Students who enjoy studying the ancient languages may wish to enroll in the Classics Specialization Honours Plan.

We also offer a Masters program for those who wish to enrich their undergraduate degree in Classics, or who plan to continue on to doctoral studies.
