Undergraduate Program

Many students learn about Classics by starting with an elective course (usually Introduction to Greek and Roman Civilization, or Introduction to Archaeology) in their first or second year, and then decide to declare Classical Studies as their major concentration, or to enhance their degrees with a medial or minor concentration in Classical Studies as they have come to appreciate how their particular program of choice has direct links to the Greek and Roman worlds. For students who enjoy studying the ancient languages, the option is also available to declare Greek or Latin as their Major, Medial, or Minor concentration. We also offer a Masters program for those who want to enhance their Classical Studies degree, or who plan to continue on to doctoral studies.
