OPRIG Equity and Mental Health Panel

This symposium will address the issues, policies, and practices involved with mental health, which has been of utmost concern on campus, and its relation to questions of equity.
Speakers:
Dr. Mike Condra, Director of Health, Counselling and Disability Services;
Dr. Heather Stuart, professor of Community Health and Epidemiology, Bell Mental Health and Anti-Stigma Research Chair (the first of its kind in the world!)
Dr. Jackie Duffin, Hannah Professor, cross-appointments to the Departments of Medicine, Philosophy, and History, Nursing, and Faculty of Education.
Queen's Health, Counselling and Disability Services currently offers four programs- ranging from a 45-minute awareness-raising session to a 2-day certificate program - to educate students, faculty and staff about mental health issues.
