Departmental Facilities

The Department is housed on the second and third floors of Carruthers Hall.

Administrative and faculty offices are located on the second floor, along with research office space  for upper year graduate students and research associates.  There are also two small interview rooms for conducting confidential telephone interviews.

The third floor is dedicated to first year students in the Master of Science and Master of Public Health programs.  There is a quiet study room with shared desk space.  Every student will be assigned a locked filing cabinet drawer for their belongings.   In addition, there is a more open common room  furnished with couches and work tables.  This room includes a photcopier, a telephone and two desktop computers with SAS and SPSS  licences.

The graduate office for all students is located on the third level.  This floor also includes a  a small seminar room and a lab space for 36. 

Carruthers Hall is a wireless building and all desks in the student area and the lab space are wired for power.  Students are expected to provide their own laptop computers.  Printing hookup to the main photocopier is available.   Printing, photocopy, fax, and office supplies are provided on a cost-recovery basis.
