Why you chose to pursue a Master of Public Health?

"Obvious interest in the field of public health and to further employment opportunities."

Favourite MPH course and why:

EPID 812: Health Services and Program Evaluation. The course was very well organized, challenging, eye-opening and practical for employment in public health.

What your MPH experience taught you:

I see public health issues and challenges in a different light as a result of my MPH training. I have the skill set to be more critical of research design, results and interpretation and I understand and appreciate the determinants of public health issues.

Current Employment:

Public Health Inspector, Communicable Disease Control Department, Hastings and Prince Edward Counties Health Unit, Belleville, Ontario.

How your MPH is contributing to your career path & life success:

Earning my MPH has opened the door for me to challenge for higher-level employment positions that require a Master's education.
