Applicants to our program normally have an MSc in Epidemiology or a related discipline. Those students who do not have a Master's in Epidemiology should have taken epidemiology and biostatistics courses at a graduate level.
The Department requires a copy of your MSc abstract and a full curriculum vitae.
Students may be accepted into the program with a non-thesis based Master's degree. However, applicants would need to demonstrate that they have some previous research experience (eg. first authored research publications).
GRE scores are required for those students applying from a non-Canadian university.
Our PhD program is a full-time program. Part-time students are accepted only in exceptional circumstances.
The department requires PhD students to be on campus three days a week at a minimum.
