Process

The executive committee has reached out to more than 120 individuals, groups, units, departments, faculties and facilities on campus and has linked with external partners, many also marking key anniversaries, such as the City of Kingston, Royal Military College, St. Lawrence College, Kingston Police, and the United Way of Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington. This confluence of anniversaries provides an opportunity to express shared values and coordinated aspirations for legacy. The 175th Anniversary Network of Representatives now numbers more than 100 internal and external members, some of whom are celebrating milestones of their own. The group met  April 16,  June 22 and Nov. 18, 2015 to report on their plans for the anniversary year and to share ideas and information.

Communications

A multi-media communications strategy is in place that will engage multiple audiences in various ways, ramping toward the 2016-2017 academic year.

Visual Identity

University Marketing has developed a visual identity for the 175th anniversary to be used in promotional material and communications. A visual identity standards guide has been developed so that faculties and departments understand when and how it should be used.
