Feelings Canada's Response to September 11 Terrorist Attacks
With regards to Canada's response to the terrorist attack on the United States, some people say Canada should unequivocally back ANY American efforts to pursue and retaliate against those THOUGHT TO BE responsible for the attack, even to the extent of committing Canadian Forces in conflict situations. Other people say Canada should offer moral and humanitarian support to the United States, but that our efforts should be focussed on addressing the root causes of terrorism, such as the despair and poverty of displaced peoples around the globe.
