John Queenan is an Epidemiologist with the Centre for Studies in Primary Care. John conducted his graduate research at the Queen’s Cancer Research Institute. His Masters dissertation measured the social support and quality of life experiences of patients with prostate cancer. His Doctoral work is examining the predictors of diagnostic delay in patients with cancers of the head and neck. John has experience in conducting clinical studies that measure patient reported outcomes and the length of time that elapses from the moment a patient first notices something is wrong until they receive a definitive diagnosis. He is also experienced with a variety of multivariate analysis techniques used for both causal and predictive modeling. John is in the final phase of completing his PhD in Epidemiology (Clinical Stream with a Specialization in Cancer Research) in the Department of Population Health Sciences, Queen’s University.
