Lorne is the Local Area Data Manager on the Canadian Primary Care Sentinel Surveillance Network (CPCSSN) project at Queen's University. He is responsible for the collection of EMR data from Primary Care Physicians in Kingston and the surrounding area. Lorne is tasked with the extraction, processing,cleaning and uploading of EMR data into the central data repository and facilitating the development of query/reporting tools for use with the CPCSSN data repository for research purposes. Lorne brings over 20 plus years of IT consulting experience developing a wide variety of database end user applications for public and private sector clients, including roles as Project Manager, Team Lead and Senior System Analyst for major Canadian government departments. He has a Diploma from St. Lawrence College in Data Processing - Business Administration and is a certified PowerBuilder Developer.
