Shahriar joined CSPC in September 2010. He brings more than 15 years of experience in conceptualizing and designing quantitative research, applying appropriate statistical tools and techniques, and coauthoring reports with special emphasis on policy implications. For the past seven years, he was involved in a longitudinal research project called Better Beginnings, Better Futures at Queen's University, carrying out numerous complex multivariate analyses to evaluate program effects on various aspects of child, parent and neighbourhood. Shahriar has a Master degree in Demography from the Austrialian National University, Canberra, Australia and a Bachelor (honours) and Master degree in Statistics from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has participated in various international development programs in the developing world such as Bangladesh, Nepal, Indonesia and Cambodia.
