The Centre's participation in the development of a community on-site supportive living program for at risk seniors is highlighted on page 10 of the May 2011 onQ magazine. OASIS is a collaborative program that has been developed to allow seniors to remain independent and age well in the community. Dr. Richard Birtwhistle, Director of the Centre is pleased to support this innovative community program and the Centre's research team will be evaluating the model over the next two years. The evaluation will be lead by Jyoti Kotecha, Assistant Director of the Centre along with research associates: Jane Yealland, Suzanne Biro and research assistant - Renée Corbin.
