Dr. David Barber's AFHTO QUIDS Innovations fund project

Congratulations to Dr. David Barber, a collaborator on an AFHTO QUIDS Innovations fund project, “QIDS based information management clusters: leveraging privacy infrastructure, standardized EMR data and scalable analytic tools for groups of FHTs." The Association of Family Health Teams of Ontario provided $25,000 to the project – one of three projects supported through the fund this year.

This year's Primary Cary Research Day winners annouced

Primary Care Research Day, hosted by the Queen’s Department of Family Medicine’s Centre for Studies in Primary Care, was held on Thursday, February 27 at the Holiday Inn Kingston Waterfront. Second-year residents presented the results of their research and scholarly projects at this annual event, attended by 176 participants this year.

Dr. Ian Casson receives $15,000 from the SEAMO Endowed Scholarship and Education Fund
