Practice-Based Research Network (PBRN)
The Network strives to foster a spirit of inquiry in our faculty, residents and students; to create innovations in our areas of research focus; and to seek to create, evaluate, and disseminate knowledge that leads to the improvement of the practice of primary care and its delivery to Canada's population. Our emphasis on health as well as disease leads to work in disease prevention in all the areas of research focus. And our belief that clinical practice should be, wherever possible, based on evidence, has led to work on the evaluation of the use and effectiveness of evidence-based guidelines in clinical practice.
The CSPC Practice-Based Research Network is one of Canada's largest practice-based primary care research networks, and comprises about 80 family doctors across Kingston and Eastern Ontario.
