Videos of Teaching

Typically, teaching often feels like a private activity between teachers and students in a classroom. Research can be seen as the exact opposite of teaching, since it is readily available to the wider academic community and many can benefit from the research and writing that our colleagues engage in. However, in many respects, teaching remains a closed book. By making their classrooms and thoughts about teaching accessible, we're hoping you might find these teaching tutorials helpful in the development of your own teaching. Here you can view streaming videos and transcripts of successful teachers in their classrooms and departments, discussing their teaching. Rather than having to schedule time during a busy day to attend a workshop, you will be able to view each video at a time that is convenient for you.
