Cultural Studies director James Miller plus students participate in the 2015 Beijing Normal University summer school

Cultural Studies has active partnerships with two universities in China.

  1. Beijing Normal University runs an annual summer school in Chinese philosophy and culture. Students from cultural studies have participated in this program over the past two years. Generally most of the expenses for this program, including some or all of the cost of international flights, are covered by the Chinese side.
  2. Queen's has a longstanding partnership with Fudan University in Shanghai, and the cultural studies program's major partner at Fudan is the School of Social Development and Public Policy. Queen's students can study for free there for one or two terms on a tuition-exchange basis, and Fudan students also participate in our programs and courses.

For more information about participating in either of these programs, please contact the program director.
