Research Interests

Jessica Marion Barr is an artist, educator, activist, and Ph.D. Candidate in Cultural Studies at Queen's University.  Her work focuses on forging links between visual art, elegy, ecology, ethics, and sustainability. Images of Jessica's artwork and accompanying texts have been published in The Brock Review and The Goose, and Jessica's poem "The Magnolia Tree" is featured in a recently-published anthology of Kingston-area poets entitled That Not Forgotten.
