The Queen's Day Care Centre has day care spaces for 89 children daily ranging in age from birth to 6 years. The children occupy 2 large homes renovated to suit day-care needs. Both are located on main campus across the street from each other.
Infants & Toddlers
Infants and toddlers are located at 184 Union Street. There are 10 spaces in the infant group which accommodates children from birth to 18 months. There are 3 full-time and 2 part-time staff members in charge of this group.
The toddler group has 20-25 spaces available and accommodates children ages 18 months to 30 months, supervised by 4-5 full-time Staff members.
Pre-Schoolers
Pre-school children are located across the street at 169 Union Street.
There are 16 spaces for children ages 2 to 3 years and 16 spaces for children ages 3 to 4 years. Each age group is headed by 2 full-time teachers.
The kindergarten group has 22 spaces available for children ages 4 to 6 and is staffed by 2 full-time and 1 part-time teacher(s).
