DEVS 305 Cuban Society and Culture Course Costs

Costs are subject to change from year to year. The following figures are intended as an indication only. 

Program Fee: $3,000 (Subject to confirmation). The program fee includes accommodation (double rooms), meals/snacks, airfare, travel agent fees, and all excursions.  

Other Costs: The fee listed above does not include: 

  • Transportation to and from Pearson Airport in Toronto
  • Course readings 
  • Tuition 
  • Passport application and/or renewal fees

Financial Aid

The Sonia Enjamio Award is named for former University of Havana professor Dr. Sonia Enjamio, (1945-2010).  Dr. Enjamio was a history professor who was one of the founders and original teachers of the Queen's Cuban studies course.  Preference for the award will be given to qualified upper year students, in any department.  Two awards of $750 each are available to subsidize the program fee for students wishing to enroll in Global Development Studies 305 "Cuban Culture and Society," which takes place January-May at Queen's and in Havana. 

Please indicate on your application form if you would like to be considered for the Sonia Enjamio DEVS Bursary available for this course.  Preference is given to upper year students, from any department.
