Costs and Financial Aid

Costs

Programme costs change from year to year. The following are intended as an indication only. 

Fees: $2100.00 (Queen’s Arts and Science tuition for 2.5 courses) plus $2500.00 (approximately) for the Programme Fee (final costs may vary depending on exchange rates and other factors). The Programme fee includes double-accommodation at the International Students Residence on the Fudan University campus, course material, course-related site-visits, and travel and meal expenses while working on placement or research related field trips. International travel costs are not included in the programme fee. Participants are expected to make their own travel arrangements, including but not limited to, flights, vaccinations, health and travel insurance, as well as travel documentation (i.e. passport and visas).

Airfare: approx. $1600
ISIC card: $25
Vaccinations: approx. $300
Other optional medications: approx. $2-300
Passport: $87 (if needs to be renewed)
VISA: $50 CAD single entry* charges may vary if sending application in through a travel agency – courier fees will also apply
Food at Fudan ($5/day): $525
Local transportation: approx. $200

    Financial Aid

    Some financial support is available in the form of exchange bursaries to make the programme more accessible. Queen’s students seeking financial assistance should collect a "Queen’s Exchange –Study Abroad Bursary Application Form” from the Students Awards Office and submit it with the Application form: http://www.queensu.ca/studentawards/financialassistance.html
