ARTS MANAGEMENT AWARD
Established in (Pending Approval) by an anonymous donor to encourage students pursuing careers in Arts Management. Awarded on the basis of academic achievement to students in year three or four in a minor, major, medial or concentration in Drama who are currently registered in, or have completed, a Commerce course(s), or who are registered in year three or four in the Bachelor of Commerce program who are currently registered in, or have completed, a Drama course(s). The student recipient must have an interest in Arts Management as demonstrated through taking relevant courses and work or volunteer experience in Arts Management. A letter of application is to be submitted to the Office of the University Registrar, Student Awards, by April 15, 2013.

CLARKSON ESSAY PRIZE
Instructions

Established by Max Clarkson, Toronto. Two prizes to be awarded annually
by the Department of Drama to students who have taken drama courses. One
prize is for the best essay in theory and the other is for the best essay
in research (which can include any aspect of theatre or drama practice,
history, criticism or analysis). Submissions to be made to the Department
of Drama prior to April 30.

EDYTHE
ZACKS MILLMAN AWARD
Established by Edythe Zacks Millman, B.A. 1939, a member of the Drama Guild,
the Kingston Drama Group and various other theatrical organizations. Edythe
has a great love of musical comedies and has remained active in the world
of theatre through her participation in the local communities in Kingston
and Naples, Florida. Awarded on the recommendation of the Head of the Department
of Drama, on the basis of academic excellence and artistic merit, to a graduating
student of a performing arts program.

FRED EURINGER
AWARD IN DRAMA
This award was established by colleagues and friends to honour the long and distinguished career of J.A. (Fred) Euringer, actor, director, playwright and teacher, and for many years the Head of the Department of Drama. This award is given annually to a student enrolled in a Queen's University Drama program, and is intended to facilitate the recipient's ability to create theatre within the Kingston community. The application consists of a covering letter outlining the proposed activity for which the award is to be used, a budget and a curriculum vitae and/or a portfolio of work appropriate to the student's area of interest should be submitted to the Drama Department.

LORNE GREENE AWARD Application Form

Established by Lorne Greene, BA'37, LL.D. '71, and awarded annually to a student in drama who graduates at either fall or spring convocation in a current academic year for outstanding achievement in the practical and performing aspects of theatre while at Queen's. Assessment of the applicants shall be based equally on the following: 1) the highest average (not less than 80 percent in each course) of three full credits (six half credits); and 2) a submitted resume demonstrating a sustained level of participation in university theatrical activity. Applications should be submitted to the Awards Committee on the prescribed form available on the Drama Department website no later than April 30th. Final selection shall be decided by the faculty of the Drama Department in May.

ROD ROBERTSON PRIZE IN DRAMATIC LITERATURE AND THEATRE HISTORY
Established in memory of Dr. Rod Robertson, B.A., M.A.,
Ph.D., faculty member of the Department from 1968 until his death in 1977.
Dr. Robertson was a Director and Professor of dramatic theory. Awarded
to the graduating student in a Drama program who has achieved the highest
average in the equivalent of four full courses as specified by the Department
of Drama.
