We have some exciting plans for the Drama Department this year! Some events and projects that we have planned for this academic year among many, many others include:
1. The DSC Guide to Drama – This useful guide has useful information about our department at Queen’s. It explains how the department works, how to audition and sign up for shows, what is Vogt, etc.

2. The Audition Workshop – This event will be held in the first week of classes and focuses on preparing students for auditions at Queen’s. It will be led by the head of the department, Tim Fort.

3. The First Year Gala – This will occur during the First Year Show in October. The Drama DSC will hold a gala night celebration for all those involved in the show and for students in general.

4. Queen's Drama Night at Alfie's – This event will present an excellent opportunity to celebrate Queen's drama with both drama and non-drama students.

5. Drama department clothing – It may be a t-shirt, sweats, or sweater, depending on popular opinion. Also, look out for the Department Clothing DESIGN CONTEST. Submit a design to be printed on all of this year’s department clothing. Winner of the contest will receive their own piece of department clothing for free!

Also, keep an eye out for our monthly DSC newsletter in your Webmail inbox. These newsletters will fill you in on all of the events, auditions, signups, and productions occurring both within the department and the Kingston theatre community.
