Queen's EAP Policy

The purpose of the Queen's Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is to promote and maintain the well-being of all University employees.

Personal difficulties (including physical, psychological, emotional, marital, family, substance abuse, financial or legal problems) may have serious effects on the work performance, personal life and health of an employee as well as work colleagues and/or family members.

Utilization of the services offered by the Employee Assistance Program is voluntary and will not interfere with that employee's position, employment or opportunities for promotion, salary increments, or other forms of advancement within the University.

The services provided by this program are available only to Queen's employees and their immediate families (as defined by the Queen's benefits programs). Any University employee or eligible family member who identifies the need to seek assistance through the Employee Assistance Program should contact the Employee Assistance Program Provider directly.
