This semi-formal awards banquet has been held each spring since 1936 to recognize the outstanding athletic achievements of Queen's students. The banquet was originally called Colour Night.
The two top awards presented each year are the Jenkins Trophy and the PHE '55 Alumnae Award, which go to the top graduating male and female athletes who have brought the most honour to Queen's with their athletic and scholastic ability.
