Grad Club

This pub, restaurant, gathering place, and music venue is located in a red-brick Victorian duplex at 162 Barrie Street, at the corner of Union Street.

The club was established in 1976 by the Graduate Student Society (now the Society of Graduate and Professional Students) and rents space from the university, but it is officially independent of both; as "Queen's Grad Club Inc.," it has autonomous corporate status. It is run by a board of directors composed of elected representatives of its members. It offers regular events, as well as meeting spaces for members.

The club originally occupied only the southern half of the building, but took over the northern half when the Department of Psychology moved out in 1979.
