My research is situated among the current scholarship that stresses the influence of Oceania and the Pacific Islands on Victorian culture. At the present, I am focused on the recording and representing of Indigenous travellers and indentured slaves in Jack London's and Robert Louis Stevenson’s South Pacific historiography and in Pacific administrative records of the British government.
