Carolyn Smart published Hooked: Seven Poems (Brick Books, April 2009, second printing in June). She gave public readings from the book in Victoria, Vancouver, Banff, Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa, Kingston, Perth, Montreal, Halifax and Antigonish, as well as at Michigan State University, SUNY Buffalo, and in venues in Chicago and New York City. She is currently at work on a new poetry manuscript entitled "Careen" and will be reading from that at the Elora Poetry Festival in May 2012.
