Graduate Program

Queen's has offered the MA in English literature since 1929, and the PhD since 1942. Chances are, you've been taught by one of our former graduate students: few universities in Canada are without a Queen's graduate on faculty. Our alumni enjoy tenure-track posts, NGO and government work, and literary careers, as well as the benefits of an alumni network that reaches around the world. Or perhaps you've read the work of our faculty, who publish in dozens of leading literary journals. Welcome to our vibrant research community!

Please refer to the links on the left for information pertinent to your Queen's experience. Important documents are also available in the box to the right. Please browse at your leisure. We invite you to contact the Graduate Co-ordinator if you have questions about our program. Thanks!
