Erinn Drage, a 4th year ENSC Major student participated in the Moscow International Model Arctic Council, held in Russia from Feb 16-20, 2016. 

The conference – devoted to the 20th anniversary of the Arctic Council –welcomed distinguished experts from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation along with youth delegates from around the world. As a representative of the Protection of Arctic Marine Environments (PAME) working group, Erinn helped create mock policies involving the protection of marine species and ecosystems. The week was full of friendly debate and was an experience that will not be forgotten.

She hopes to inspire her peers to take an active role in protecting the arctic and the natural environment. Great job Erinn!
