General Research Interests
My research considers the interface between political economy and political ecology for analysing the uneven development of global capitalism. Specifically, I am interested in how the concepts of ecological uneven exchange and global metabolic rift both inform but also disrupt established theories within political economy. This feeds into a wider question: how do the ecological costs of mass production and mass consumption feed into uneven development on a global level?
Areas of Potential or Present Thesis/Project Supervision
