Project Title: Carbon regime of development: An analysis of CDM projects in Latin America 

Research Topic/Project description: I don't have a specific country yet, but it will likely be somewhere in South America. My research will involve a theoretical exploration of carbon trade systems in general and a case study of Clean Development Mechanism projects in a Latin American country. It is a political economy analysis of how sustainable development schemes like CDM impact local livelihoods and natural environment in a developing country.
